In Judges 7, Gideon prepares to face a massive Midianite army with 32,000 men. Instead of adding to his army, God reduces it to just 300 so there would be no question where the victory came from. God also addresses Gideon’s fear, strengthens his faith, and gives him an unexpected strategy for victory.

God’s math works differently. He subtracts before He multiplies. He subtracts fear, adds faith, then divides and designs a strategy to solve the problem.
