  • When you arrive at the Worship Center located at 600 Watkins Park Drive, Upper Marlboro, MD, you will find ample parking available on-site. As you approach the Worship Center, follow the signs directing you to the main parking lot. For those with special needs or mobility challenges, designated parking spots are conveniently located near the building entrance. We aim to make your visit as smooth and welcoming as possible.

  • The Worship Center is open Monday - Friday  6 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and  on Saturdays 7 a.m. - 1 p.m for various Classes and events.  The Ministry Center is open Monday - Friday 9a.m. - 9:30p.m. and Saturdays from 7a.m. - 3p.m. 

  • Yes, we offer both ASL and Spanish interpretation. Interpretation is currently available in Spanish for all Sunday services and on Zoom for Communion Service, Bible Study on Tuesday nights and special events. 

  • We offer public transportation for all 3 services from the Largo and New Carrollton Metro stations, Senior Living Facilities and the Howard University Campus.

We are delighted that you’re planning to visit. To help us prepare for your arrival and make your check-in process smooth, please fill out our Family Information Form. This will allow us to have your family's information in our system ahead of time. Our mission is to guide children and youth in becoming faithful followers of Jesus Christ, grounded in the Word of God, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges with faith and confidence.

    10 A.M. Service: Check-in starts at 9:30 A.M. and ends at 10 A.M.
    • Noon Service: Check-in starts at 11:30 A.M. and ends at Noon

    Check-In Process:
    Our Gospel Kids Town (GKT) greeters will assist you in checking your child into Sunday School using our kiosk system.


    You will receive two badges: a security badge for yourself and a name badge for your child. The security badge is essential for picking up your child after the service and has a unique code that matches your child’s name badge. All children from 12 months to 5th grade must be checked in by a parent or guardian to ensure their safety and security.

  • Location: Rooms 2003 to 2012
    10 a.m. Service: Check-in starts at 9:30 A.M. and ends at 10 A.M.
    Noon Service: Check-in starts at 11:30 A.M. and ends at Noon

    Check-In Process:
    Check-in for middle and high school students takes place upstairs in the Lobby area near room 2005.
    Parents or guardians are not required to check in these students. However, students are encouraged to communicate with their parents about where they will meet after Sunday School ends.

Transportation

We offer transportation to increase the opportunities for individuals, particularly those with limited access to personal transportation, to regularly attend church.

  • Our shuttles provide roundtrip transportation from the New Carrollton Metro Station (Ardwick Ardmore Road entrance) and the Largo Town Center Metro Station (taxicab side) for Sunday services.

  • 8 a.m. Service

    • Departure Time: 7:10 a.m.

    • Arrival Time: 7:40 a.m.

    • Return to Station: 30 minutes after service concludes

    10 a.m. Service

    • Departure Time: 9:10 a.m.

    • Arrival Time: 9:40 a.m.

    • Return to Station: 30 minutes after service concludes


    Noon Service

    • Departure Time From Station: 11:10 a.m.

    • Arrival Time to FBCG: 11:40 a.m.

    • Return to Station: 30 minutes after service concludes

  • 8 a.m. Service

    • Departure Time: 7:10 a.m.

    • Arrival Time: 7:40 a.m.

    • Return to Station: 30 minutes after service concludes

Special Events: We occasionally provide shuttle services for special events.  Please give us a call at 301-773-3600 to inquire.

College Campus Shuttles

Just because you’re away from home does not mean you can’t continue to grow spiritually. If you’re a student at one of these local universities, we provide roundtrip transportation from your campus.  If a shuttle does not service your campus, please use our Metro Shuttle Service (see details above).

  • Currently, the First Baptist Church of Glenarden International (FBCG) provides roundtrip shuttle bus transportation service for Howard University (HU).

    The FBCG has three Worship Services, 8 a.m., 10 a.m., and Noon. The FBCG College Campus Shuttle Services is only available for the 10:00 a.m. Worship Service.

    HU students who would like to take advantage of the FBCG Shuttle should prepare themselves to attend  the 10 a.m. FBCG Worship Service.

    Dorm Pick-Up Times:

    • College South Dorms - 8:40 a.m.

    • College North Dorms - 8:40 a.m.

    • Tubman Quad Hall - 8:45 a.m.

    • Drew Hall - 8:50 a.m.

    • Cook Hall - 9 a.m. 

    • The Towers - 9:05 a.m.

    Final departure from the Towers is 9:15 am.
