FBCG WOMEN’S GROUP PRESENTS
May 21 – 22, 2021
Have you ever wondered what it means to abide with God? How to stay with Him through thick and thin? How to remain obedient to Him especially when so many things are beckoning for your allegiance? If the answer is yes, join the First Baptist Church of Glenarden Women’s Group on May 21-22, 2021, for Renewed by Grace.
This year, the Grace Girls are gathering everywhere for a time of renewal. We are not able to go away for retreat as we usually do because of life’s circumstances. But Grace Girls do what Grace Girls do — we figure out how to meet up to connect, have enjoyable conversations and enjoy community together! Women from all over the world will gather virtually in their homes to renew their commitment to abide with God! If you’re ready to learn how to abide in Christ, register for Renewed by Grace today!
This is a free, virtual event.
Get ready to be inspired and empowered by these powerhouse women!
Brittney Borders is the eldest daughter of Drs. Michael & Deloris Freeman, pastors and founder of Spirit of Faith Christian Center, a ministry focused on faith, family, finances, fellowship and fitness.
She currently serves as the chief operating officer at Spirit of Faith. Additionally, she serves in the Ministry of Leaders alongside her husband of 12 years, Youth Pastor Kevin Borders as executive directors of Blaze Youth Ministry. Together they have four children: twin girls from her belly and two boys from her heart, by way of adoption. They are active foster parents, opening their home to children and families in need of care. Because of her desire to advocate for children in need, she is featured on multiple television talk shows and podcasts. Brittney started a YouTube channel called “Love With[out] Borders” which focuses on all aspects of motherhood, homeschooling and foster care. It is her heart’s desire to not only bring a sense of identity to children left in our system but to also change the way society views parenting.
Brelyn Bowman, affectionately known as “Breeze,” is an author, minister and entrepreneur. Her wisdom and commitment to Christ has produced success beyond her years. As the youngest child of Apostle Mike and Dr. Dee Dee Freeman, Brelyn was always taught to love and honor God. At just thirteen years old, she made a commitment to her Heavenly Father and her parents to embrace purity and keep herself until marriage. Though at times it became challenging, Brelyn’s genuine love for God and pursuit of holiness caused her to remain focused. Almost ten years later, Brelyn wed gospel-recording artist, Timothy Bowman, Jr. Both being virgins, their story went viral. Since then they’ve used their platform of Purity to share God’s plan for marriage throughout the world. On July 6, 2019, they welcomed their first child, Sofie Grace Bowman and on May 22, 2020, they welcomed their second child, Creswell Aaron Bowman.
Brelyn’s passion and maturity has caused her to excel in entrepreneurship and ministry. A server at heart, Brelyn remains active in her local church, Spirit of Faith Christian Center, where she serves as the director of media and co-pastor of Echo, a service that reaches many young adults. Brelyn is determined to fulfill her purpose as a living example of what God intended life to be. Brelyn Bowman is simply put — a young woman who loves God and is committed to fulfill His assignment for her life.

Dr. Deloris R. Freeman, affectionately known as Dr. DeeDee, is the wife of Apostle Michael A. Freeman, senior pastor and founder of Spirit of Faith Christian Center, a ministry focused on faith, family, finance, fellowship and fitness.
Devoted to the vision of the ministry, Dr. DeeDee serves alongside her husband to ensure that his God-given assignment is carried out. An example to many, her lifestyle, and teachings both inspire, motivate and challenge women to develop strong relationships with God and with their families. A champion of healthy marriages, she passionately encourages women to be incubators of their husband’s visions and dreams. Dr. DeeDee is an anointed teacher of the uncompromising Word of God. She has a desire to see the entire Body of Christ have what God intended for them to have; however, she is especially passionate to see the women of God having, doing and being everything they are entitled to according to His Word.
Through Dee’s House of Hope, a transitional home (construction in progress) for battered women, Dr. DeeDee and her team will offer a multitude of essential resources and services to battered women in an effort to propel them and their children into successful futures.
In 2015, she earned a master’s degree in human services and completed her doctoral degree in strategic leadership in 2019.
She is the mother of three lovely children, Brittney, Joshua and Brelyn and grandmother to eight grandchildren. Dr. DeeDee attributes her success to God, her parents, and the continual leadership and support of her husband.
