online volunteer opportunities

Want to give back but aren’t local to the Washington, D.C metro area or available on Jan. 15? Read below about a unique service opportunity that you can participate in right where you are!

B.L.E.S.S. Your Neighborhood Initiative

This year, for Dr. Martin Luther King weekend of service, the Online Campus invites all of our OC family to participate in a “B.L.E.S.S. Your Neighborhood” activity. What better way to honor Dr. King’s legacy than to serve the people around you on a regular basis?

Pastor Jenkins taught the B.L.E.S.S. model for evangelism to the entire congregation. This is a simple approach for sharing the Gospel and the love of Jesus with others:

B – Begin With Prayer.

L – Listen to Them.

E – Eat A Meal With Them.

S – Serve a Need That They Have.

S -  Share A Story (Yours or Someone Else’s Testimony).

Through the Online Campus, we are adapting the B.L.E.S.S. approach so that we can use it to become champions for Christ in our own neighborhoods! For more general information, how to order print supplies, or download sharable graphics follow the links below.
