The Deaf Ministry helps interpret all worship services and special events for the deaf and hard of hearing using American Sign Language. If you are skilled in signing, then you can make a difference at First Baptist.

The First Touch Ministry serves everyone who enters into God’s house by facilitating the ultimate experience in ministry and worship.
Help beautify events by adding flowers throughout the church for services, programs and special events at both the Worship and Ministry centers.
Set the tone for an unforgettable worship experience by creating a hospitable atmosphere when greeting members and guests at services. This ministry also serves meals and refreshments at special events for FBCG members and guests.
The mission of Intermediate Ushers (ages 13-25) is to orderly and systematically seat guests, as well as assist with the collection of offerings.
The mission of Junior Ushers (ages 8-12) is to orderly and systematically seat guests, as well as assist with the collection of offerings.
The Pastor’s Aid Ministry supports Pastor Jenkins, First Lady Trina and their family with special events and other needs. They also provide comfort, prayer, support and love to retired pastors, as well as their widows.
Providing a safe and secure worship environment is a top priority to ensure that First Baptist members and guests can fully enjoy the worship experience. Ministry members monitor what is happening inside and outside of the church.
The mission of Senior Ushers (ages 26 and older) is to orderly and systematically seat guests, as well as assist with the collection of offerings.

Be a blessing to those who are without regular transportation. Using First Baptist’s vans, this ministry provides a wide range of transportation services to members, including ministry outreach needs, Metro pickups/drop offs and senior citizen support.
