Beginner-friendly braiding and hair care instruction! Campers learn simple braids, twists, neat parting, and healthy hair practices — building confidence, creativity, and fine motor skills. Hair kit included!
Wise Builders

Hands-on building, engineering, and creativity converge in this exciting camp. Campers design, construct, and problem-solve — learning to build with purpose, just like the wise builder in Scripture.
Vacation Bible School

Cap off the summer with an incredible week of faith, fun, and fellowship — completely FREE! Vacation Bible School is open to children ages 3–15 and includes engaging Bible lessons, lively worship, creative crafts, and a free lunch every day. A $60 deposit per enrolled camp is due at the time of registration
The remaining balance is due by May 15, 2026

Parents will have the opportunity to attend a virtual meet-and-greet with the camp staff before the start of camp.

Yes, you are welcome to enroll your child in more than one camp.

Our summer camp will take place from June 29 to July 31, 2026. Click on the camp icon for specific session dates and additional details.

Beforecare is available from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. and aftercare is from 3:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. Please refer to the CampMinder Application Portal for more information.

On field trip days, all campers must arrive at the camp site by 8:45 a.m. sharp.
Our buses depart promptly, and we are unable to delay departure for late arrivals. If a camper arrives after departure, parents will be responsible for childcare arrangements for that day.
Lunch

Lunch is optional for an additional cost, or your child may bring their own. Please note that we are a nut-free facility, and refrigeration or microwaves will not be available. Please pack accordingly.

If you purchased the camp meal plan, your child will receive a bag lunch, which includes:

If your child does not participate in the meal plan, please send a packed lunch that does not require refrigeration or heating.

Summer Camp at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden is an exciting and enriching experience! With a wide variety of activities to choose from, every child is sure to find something they love. This year, families can select camps at either the Worship Center or the Community Life Center, with exciting offsite adventures included!

Please be aware that campers cannot be picked up early without prior permission from a parent. If an early pickup is needed, please notify our camp staff through the Campminder Parent Portal. Only authorized users will be allowed to pick up your child. If someone other than the authorized user will be picking them up, please designate them in the portal. For questions or to make arrangements, please contact 301-430-2680 before pickup.

Our limitations reflect staffing and safety, never willingness.

Yes! We welcome children with a variety of needs, including but not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing differences, speech or language delays, learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia), anxiety or emotional regulation challenges, mild physical disabilities, and food allergies (with documentation). We evaluate each situation individually to determine how we can best support your child within our camp structure.

No. Kingdom Kids Camp does not provide dedicated one-on-one aides, shadow counselors, behavioral therapists, or medical attendants. If your child requires continuous individualized supervision or therapeutic-level intervention in order to safely participate, we may not be able to accommodate those needs.

In some cases, families may request to provide their own approved support aide. Any such arrangement requires prior written approval, background check clearance, compliance with FBCG safety and child protection policies, and completion of required training. Approval is not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
