All FBCG buildings are currently closed. Worship services and ministry activities will be held virtually until further notice.

We are praying for those who may be affected by the virus and for God’s protection over us all. Please partner with us in this prayer as well as in taking practical measures to mitigate the spread of the virus.

OPERATING STATUS: All buildings are closed.  All operations, services and activities are virtual.

Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in our area, our buildings are currently closed and we are operating virtually.  Out of an abundance of caution and concern for your safety and well-being, all ministry activities and worship services will be held online until further notice.

Holiday Closure

Aside from our virtual Christmas Day Service and Sunday, Dec. 26 Worship Services (which will be held online only), we will be closed Friday, Dec. 24 – Tuesday, Dec. 28 in recognition of the Christmas holiday. We will resume virtual operations on Wednesday, Dec. 29.

Upcoming Virtual Events:

  • Christmas Day Worship Service – Saturday, Dec. 25 at 9 a.m. EST
  • Sunday Morning Worship Services – Sunday, Dec. 26 at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. EST
  • Communion Service – Sunday, Dec. 26 at 6:30 p.m. EST

All services will only be held online and we will not gather in person. Join us on our website, Facebook Live or YouTube.

While our buildings are closed, there are several ways to contact us:

  • Call 301-773-3600 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST if you would like to speak to a receptionist.
  • Email or call the desired staff member or ministry leader directly.
  • Email funerals@fbcglenarden.org or call 301-773-3600 and follow the prompts to report the death of an immediate family member.

If you would like to continue your tithes and/or offerings during this time, there are several ways you can give to the church:

Q: When will you reopen?

A: We will be closed until further notice.  Once we have determined a date when we will reopen, we will make an announcement on this page and on social media.

Q: How can I pay my tithes and offerings while the church is closed?

A: We appreciate your giving. There are several ways you can give to the church:

Q: I need to deliver something to one of your facilities. What should I do?

A: All FBCG facilities/campuses are closed. Please reach out to the recipient to make arrangements.

Q: I called the church and received a recording. What are the times I can call and speak to a live person?

A: To speak with an employee, please call Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. EST and 5 p.m. EST.

Q: I understand that ministry activities are canceled, but can I still come to the church to handle a few matters?

A: No. All FBCG facilities/campuses are closed.

Q: What is the status of SHABACH! Christian Academy?

A: The SHABACH! Christian Academy is closed and will reopen virtually from Jan 5. – Jan. 14, 2022. In-person instruction will resume on Jan. 18, 2022. 

Q: Is the Family Life Center open?

A: No. The Family Life Center is closed until further notice. An announcement will be made on this page and on social media regarding the date of its reopening.
