The Children’s Discipleship Ministry aims to feed, nurture, train and help children that are new members of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden.
Teen boys (7th – 12th grade) meet to openly discuss everyday challenges and learn how to grow spiritually and mature into godly young men.
Boys, in the 3rd through 7th grade, receive Christ-centered mentoring from mentors who instill values and thought patterns that foster a foundation within four focus areas: spiritual, academic, social and economic.
Teen girls in 7th – 12th grade are nurtured by mentors in Christian faith, grace, intellect and social awareness. The ministry also provides an intimate setting for girls to explore God’s plan for their lives.
