ALPHA CERTIFICATE

The Alpha Certificate is awarded upon completion of The Alpha Course, which is geared toward new believers but open to all. It covers the basic principles of Christianity in a relaxed, engaging environment. Each class starts with a general lesson followed by small group interactions.

FOUNDATIONAL BIBLICAL CERTIFICATE

The Foundational Certificate provides an overview of the entire Bible, exploring how to study the Word of God and begin growing as a Christian. Students will gain a solid foundation in the study of God’s Word.

ADVANCED BIBLICAL CERTIFICATE

Students who complete the Foundational Certificate can pursue this certificate to gain further knowledge of the Bible, the work of the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts. Students also can explore advanced bible-based courses.

  • Biblical Interpretation
  • Church History
  • Christian Ethics
  • Spirit-Controlled Temperaments

Plus, any two of the following Bible electives:
  • The Gospels
  • Apostle Paul and the Christian Community

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION CERTIFICATE

This area of study is designed to prepare the Christian educator for effective ministry in the local church. Believers must be certified before they can teach any classes at FBCG. To receive certification, the following courses must be completed:

  • Church Doctrine
  • Old Testament, Part I
  • Old Testament, Part II
  • New Testament
  • Teaching Techniques
  • How to Study the Bible
  • How to Share the Gospel (formerly ACCT/CWT)

EVANGELISM AND MISSIONS CERTIFICATE

This area of study is designed to meet the needs of those who have a passion for evangelism and missions work. Students will be prepared for the mission field or for personal evangelism.
